Rope Condition Rating System

With this Rope Condition Rating System (CRS) we classify used ropes into five categories from „fairly new“ which is 10/10 points down to „worn out„, 01/10 points. 

Fairly New means this rope has been tried a few times, but it has never seen any cattle or is not used in a real working environment. 

Worn Out ropes, are ropes that normally would be replaced, but they are still good enough for some other reasons. 

	CRS 10/10	This rope is fairly new. Not originally packed anymore and maybe tried a few times but it has never seen any cattle.
	CRS 7,5/10	This rope is still very good but it has visibly been used a little.
	CRS 5/10	At this point the rope is definitely used. Some fibers at the surface starting to brake and there can be some signs of wear from dallying.
	CRS 2,5/10	This rope has definitely some clearly visible signs of wear and it has been used a while. Fibers at the surface are broken, there might be rubber from dallying and so on.
	CRS 1/10	At this point the rope would be replaced normally and not longer be used for regular roping. But it still can be good enough for some other reasons.
